女優、田中麗奈（２７）が主演する映「夕凪の街　桜の」 （佐々部清監督、２８日公開）が１４日、埼玉川口市のＳＫＩＰシティ彩のビジュアルプラザで開幕した「第４回ＳＫＩＰシティ際Ｄシネマ映祭 ２００７」（２２日まで）でオープニング上映され、田中と共演の俳優、吉悠（２８）が舞台あいさつに登場した。

　島への原爆投下をテーマに過去と現代に生きる女性の視から平和の尊さを描いた人間ドラマ。被爆２世の女性を演じた田中は「撮影中に何度も泣きそうになって涙をこらえるのが大変だった。映で生きていることを少しでも意識してもらえたら」と訴えた。
